Choosing Charms for Your Bracelet: A Quick Guide

Start with the metal. Every charm we make is genuine 925 sterling silver, cast and finished in the USA. Sterling takes engraving cleanly, wears to a warm patina instead of flaking, and solders securely if you ever want a charm permanently attached.

Think in themes — or don't. Some of the best charm bracelets tell one story: a travel bracelet that grows by one charm per trip, a family bracelet with a birthstone per child. Others are joyfully random.

How many charms? A full-size bracelet carries 8–12 comfortably. Start with 3–5 spaced out — a bracelet that's still "in progress" is half the fun.

Care. Wear it — sterling stays brightest with regular wear. Between wears, a soft cloth and a dry pouch; polish with a silver cloth when needed.

What's the difference between a charm and a bead? Charms dangle below the bracelet; beads thread onto it. Both work on the right chain — many customers mix them.
